Yes I think your title correctly describes what is happening here. and With all that chaos, you somehow still managed to get a very clear picture. Great Job!

Amazing! This is such a great shot. I can feel all of the chaos in this so the title is also perfect for this. Although there is a lot going on here, you managed to get exactly what was happening and it is a really clear and wonderful photo. Thanks you for sharing!

WOW! There must have been quite a commotion! The Ducks sure do look panicked! The coyote seems very intent on finding its dinner! The focus is good! The colors are very nice! Great capture and thanks for sharing! Lori

Thank you for your nice comments! It was wild and happened all very quickly. The coyote did wind up with a meal, which made me feel bad for the duck! But I know all animals have to eat.

grace this is brilliant, it could be a painting, great stop action which captures all the birds flying about in chaos, but still capturing the detail and colours in the plumage
the coyote coming in on the left adds such drama to the scene, I especially like that you can still see the sheen on some of the birds heads,
very well framed for maximum impact, and to get such a good shot a such a cold day is wonderful, brave girl, we think its bad because we have a sprinkle of snow and its 1 degree, lol
very well done, this would have been a good contender for the nature contest.

Thank you very much for your awesome comments and the six stars :) I was truly fortunate to have arrived on the scene when I did, it was over within a minute. Very unexpected and fast! I felt bad for the ducks :)
It's -27 today and that's without the windchill, lol! With the windchill it is ranging from 45 to 60 below zero -dangerously, crazy cold, so I probably won't be seeing the ducks today!

When I saw the photo at first I couldn't figure out what I was looking at. Then I looked at the larger photo and could make out all the ducks. There are quite a few of them. I did find the coyote before I read where he was from your comments. It looks like maybe one of the ducks had an untimely death.

Thank you! It took me a moment to see the coyote when it was happening :)

That is pretty scary. It's a good thing he had so much more to choose from or you might have been dinner.

Fabulous! This is definitely Chaos and truly reflects the terror of the birds. The detail in the Coyotes face and carriage of the body tells it all. Thanks for this.

Wow! That is an absolutely amazing shot! I didn't see the coyote at first, just trying to look at what all was going on and then he popped out! Absolutely cool, you should get this one into magazine like Big River!

What i amazing capture. When I first looked at the image I was struck by the abstraction created by the bird's bodies and wings, it was only after examining the ducks that I realized that the reason for the chaos was the coyote. ( I didn't read you narrative at first). This image really allows one to explore and see a variety of unique orientations by those being chased by a predator. Wow!

Wowowo! This image is an absolute success! It's very busy with many ducks in different poses panicking, getting away, escaping the hunter's teeth! And the hungry coyote was well captured! Here's the proof of his "kindness"!!! I think the Committee will pick this one for a monthly photography contest. This was your lucky shot, Grace! It something you can't predict or set up (well maybe with a dog, but not with a wild coyote). And there was enough empty space at the bottom of this pic to place the artist name perfectly. I didn't say photographer, but Artist. Best action image, could win the action contest, too. Definitely 6 stars! I wish I could give you 7star recognition (the committee's privelege). Congrats with my compliment!!!

Thank you very much Lucas for your flattering comments :) This was such a fortunate shot. It all happened very quickly and unexpectedly so I was really fortunate to have been there at that moment. The ducks weren't so fortunate, but that is the way of nature. Thanks again Lucas for your compliments and the six stars :)

This really is a chaotic photo lol, but I like it. All of the ducks create such interesting movements and patterns. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all excellent. Well done and thanks for sharing this creative photo with us. Have a great day. :)
