You know I live in California, and I am not sure if I have ever been to Malibu before. I just don't make it over to the L.A. area too much. You have captured this beach beautifully. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. I feel so horrible for all of those people who have suffered in the wild fires. Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo with us. :)

Yes, it does look like a grand place to spend some time! Your fine composition grants us an enjoyable look at your beautiful location. I do not know the area, but your photo has me wondering what is out there to burn? Well taken!

We were standing on a wooden platform. It was part of a boardwalk that went about a mile up from this point. At the end of trail you are looking at the city of Malibu. They were hit so fast they barely got out. Massive destruction. Over 600 homes
were lost. We haven't been back there yet.
