This is a neat and very interesting scene. I think the Sepia makes pictures look old. I have made a few but just don't care for the look much. I do find your photo interesting. The wind keeps these things going all year and is a great thing for our planet. Wish we had more of them.

This is indeed an intriguing shot. Until I read your notes I was wondering what the title meant. Such an interesting placement of the statues. The sepia conversion is handled well...not too heavy handed. Overall, a very interesting image that is a pleasure to view.

A remarkable shot. Was the guy there or did you bring him with you? A very nicely composed image. I think the sepia toning enhances the "Stranger in a Strange Land" kind of look.

Glad you enjoyed the photo and many thanks for your nice review! The man was definitely there by himself and had no connection with us.

If I didn't read your notes I never would have known there were two statues out there. They look like real people. The sepia gives this photo a sci-fi look with the windmills in the background.

It is almost something symbolic about the three men in the foreground, and it is impossible to see that two of them are statues. I like the simplicity of this photo, and it just looks great in sepia hues. All the windmills are standing out so well from the sky, and so does the man and the two statues.

Your photo is all over sharp with clear and well defined details, and the exposure is perfect. It is good distinctions between light and dark.

The format and framing is perfect, and with the three persona off to the right, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed an intriguing and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Fantastic photo. Looks like some thing from the Twilight Zone. Sharp clear image. Perfect lighting. The three subjects add a mystery to it. The wind towers give you the perfect depth of field. Cropped well.
Best of luck in the contest

this works really well in sepia, I like the light caught on the water which highlights the figures which are very well placed in the scene, the interest in the back ground really makes this an eye catching image.
good contest entry. good luck.

Wow! That's interesting shot and an apt presentation of a well taken pic! Wonder what struck the imagination of the artis and the authorized persons to install statues in the middle of a the beach! Very unusual. You have presented the scene well. Good luck in the contest!

Your kind review and insights are very welcome! The sculptor is very famous and has done works all over the world. Here, I suppose he was reflecting the yearnings people get when they look at a western sea horizon.

your title syas "only one person" but I see 3

does not matter, the angle of shot and composition is OK, just pity the photo is very grainy

good luck with the contest and thanks for sharing

Very many thanks for your kind review! There really is only one person out there and he is on the extreme right hand side. The other two figures are statues!!
