I have no idea . But what I see is a beautiful capture of nature! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

This is an insect I don't know. I have a shot or two of it but did not learn his name. The main thing I see is the white is blown out.
I think this will work but because it is a close up contest I would crop put most of the area surrounding this fly.

It is a hover fly. A well cropped image with nice colors despite the white petals being a bit overexposed. The detail in the hover fly are quite good.

A beautiful picture of a HOVER FLY....The things that tell me it's fly rather than a Bee are it's
1. Large eyes.
2. short antennae
3. Just two wings- Bees have four.
Sorry I could not find out it's species of Hoverfly except to say it's an Amrican Hoverfly.
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a very nice close up shot of this bee getting it's nectar from the flower. The greens all around it are beautifully faded to bring the attention to the insect and the flower. Very nicely framed in the lower portion of this shot.

I have no idea what the correct name of this bee is, but you have captured it well worth th good focus, it's clear and shows it's detail very well. The colors appear natural too, I like it's position on the white daisy . Well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest !

I am almost sure this is a Hover Fly, and I can also see that you have captured it well. It is also a lovely background with the big white flower, and the insect is standing out from it in a good way.
Your photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details, but the white flower is a bit over exposed. My suggestion is the raise the contrast a bit and the lower the exposure. Perhaps even sharpen the photo.
The cropping works well, but you could also try to crop a tad more to bring the fly closer to us. It does however have a very good placement off to the right. I think this is an all together lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
