Ha! Little Greenie found an alert stretched up Little Green Heron in Breeding colors and head plumes. See his orange legs and long head tails? Breeding!
I like how they can look so short and stout and then so skinny when they stretch up.
Your focus is razor sharp, eye clarity Superb and colors true and natural.
Great capture Little Greenie!!

A very nice nature image posted here! Your full and slightly off-centre composition grants us a very enjoyable look at your heron and it's location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well taken!

Your Green Heron with his brown feathers "combed,"this time. Your sideways view on brown earth, with water cress on the water, and, marsh greens behind him, provide excellent contrast against his pearl gray feathers, and stunning orange legs.

Very impressive clear photo of this heron -- not only that but this one looks very slick today, with nice smooth topknot! Also the clear detail on the bank, the green pond and the lighting on the reeds behind this handsome bird is truly superb. This award worthy photo would be beyond ideal for a bird book! My admiration!

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this Green Heron standing on the bank of the pond covered by Duckweed it's golden eye fixed on you while watching any movement on the water that might indicate food on the move. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

You've captured some really great detail here and the colors are so vivid. The fact that the greenery is so in focus is nice here because you can see it's habitat deep in the reeds.

Wonderful Shot! Not only are your colors all good and blending but you have texture too with the reeds in the background. Along with the color, the texture makes the subject stand out and adds exciting energy to the photo. Great Job. My favorite by far!

Another 6 stars shot Grace, but now I have run out. The lovely bird is posing for you in such a nice way, and could not have stood out better from the great looking background.

Your photo is just pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.

I also like the format and the framing, and the bird has got a very good placement off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
