This is beautiful pet photography. You have timed it well. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have caught the quizzing look on Juno's face very well. Good effort!

What a cutie pie. Thos big ears fully alert and , yes, just posing for you. I love her color and markings. Is she part Beagle? The way in which her coloring is marking her tail, body, legs and face is exactly classic Beagle. But her ears don't have the classic floppy hound ears. And her nose is a bit sharp for Beagle. Though I've seen Beagle's with sharp snouts. I'll bet Madame Juno is quite the little character and is a good family dog. Gets along with other pets. Beagles , family dogs in general, seem to be so comfortable in their home surroundings, and know how to strike the right pose. I like the frame you used. I'll remember that for my next clutter pic. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Kari,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on Juno ~Dog begging us to stop talking!
She was rescued as a five week old puppy found wandering & lost in the street.
We think her breed mix is Part Border Collie, Part Springier Spaniel & Jack Russell Terrier.
Her colouring is that of a Border Collie & her temperament that of a Spaniel & her size more that of a Jack Russell Terrier.
What ever she is for me she is Perfect...Large enough to see & not trip over, small enough to pick up & totally loyal & loving.

Very nice for a phone image! Its surprising how wonderful they are now! You have captured this little cutie perfectly. What a little ham! The ears perked up are what makes me smile! I like how you put the circle around the pup to keep my eyes from wandering. Great job!

I presume your talking was mainly due to a dog training session? Your framing is spot on making us focus on what is essential. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

A great expression on her face and a fine exposure that retains detail in both the black and white fur. Her eyes are very sharp and the framing is attractive.

I think this is one of the best photos you have taken of your dog Madame Juno. Especially the eyes are well captured, and the light is also falling on her in a lovely way. You have brought out such a fine shine in her coat as well.

The photo of her is really sharp, and it is such fine details to be seen in the fur and the face. I also think both the white balance and exposure is spot on, because it is not easy to photograph a black and white dog.

The dark blue frame you have added works well and Madame Juno has got a fine placement within it. A truly sweet and well taken portrait of your dog Susan, and with a good DOF.
