No I would say you captured a private moment.. butterfly style.. lol. The clarity is good. the capture of the light is good. The angle of the shot of these butterflies is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

To answer the question. Yes! Wonderful shot. I love all the color schemes and the blending of the dark and the light. You did a good job with the background too!

This is an interesting shot. Hope you did't disturb them and play spoil sport!:) . Fine composition, soft colours and very good light makes this first rate. Good luck in the contest!

I think I see 6 wings. It looks like there are 2 very small tail "feathers". I dont think I've ever seen a butterfly with such shaped and placed wings. How interesting. Really pretty. Your yard sounds like one crazy place: big, green parakeets, butterflies that look like lions.... you captured a great detailed shot with wonderful focus, colors, contrast. I can even see the antennae, eyes and a couple legs. Nice. Thanks for sharing.

A great shot. I like this perspective and the fine detail in the butterflies. The colors are attractive and the cropping is excellent. Best wishes in the contest.

What a great contest entry. Very rarely do you see butterflies mating in images, it is a welcomed bonus of 2 beautiful butterflies in one shot! Well done! Good luck to you in the contest!

Now this is different! It makes you look close! I think it is very interesting to see. It is neat to see nature like this. I know one can find all sorts of beauty if you just look.

Unexpected shot. Have seen mating damselflies and dragonflies but never butterflies. There is a lot of detail in the butterflies particularly the one at the top of the picture, including venules in the wings. Nicely done.

A beautiful picture of this pair of Athyma perius Butterflies to busy mating to pay much attention to you taking their picture both their wings outspread so we can see the beautiful colours & patterns on them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Good luck in the contest
