Great photo of this wasp,I'm really intrigued with it's red coloration,something that I don't often see In the wasps I have around here.Green background really compliments this image.A great entry for the contest,best wishes!

I avoid wasps and hornets! I give you a lot of credit for getting close to this large guy.
Fine focus, crisp details, nice use of Natural light and fine soft background keeping our attention on this busy Hornet.

I've been trying to capture one of these guys for a long time, but they always take off before I can get my shot. Love the way your shot shows all the colors. Love the sheen on the wing and eye. Very nice lighting and focus. Good Luck in the Contest!
