Very nice shot of the flower and Mr. Bee. I like the close up, with such beautiful detail, color and clarity. Congratulation, on your win with this one, it is a great shot. Shirley

Thanks for visiting, Shirley. I appreciate this positive review. What a coincidence. I've met a Filipino guys today at the store with the same last name as yours. Anyway, God bless your week.

Your welcome. My husband is Cuban. I think it is one of those names like Smith, or Jones here in the states. LOL
-
Oh, okay. Gonzales and Salazar seems like Jones and Smith for me, but not Fernandez.

I love this, what an excellent capture of this bee digging for nectar. Great focus and use of light. Excellent angle. I am making a series of Artist Trading Cards and wondered if you would allow me to use this as a reference photo to make my miniature art?. ... I do put my own style into it. It won't be photorealistic.

This is a photo with a strong visual impact because of all the strong colors, and you have also pictured the busy been really well. The blue and purple colors are lovely together with the orange and yellow flower, and the bee is standing out in an excellent way.
Your focus on the bee was spot on and sharp, and it is indeed clear details to be seen down to the smallest hairs. The exposure could not have been better.
The format you have cropped this photo into works so well, and the bee has got a perfect placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken close up of a bee with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Wow, now that is almost too close for comfort. You really got a great macro shot of the flower and the bee. You really captured every detail of the center stamen of the flower, down to the "knee joint" of the bee and his spindly feet. Great crisp colors. I see he still has his stinger too. Really great pic.

Wow! This is an excellent capture of the bee in the orange petaled flower with the bright gold center, I see clear detail throughout , nice fuzzy texture , sharp head and legs. I like your angle of capture. This is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. This is well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
