Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.
Normally it should be more space to where the moving subject is heading.
Breaking some rules.
Dreary sky.
Subdued lighting.
Dramatic interplay between lights and shades.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Well done! This is a stunning scene. You captured the waterfalls so beautifully. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all fantastic. This must be such an amazing sight in person. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Great shot of the falls with the misty softness they create. The bird gives the photo visual interest and size perspective.
I like that the bird is above and to the left. This is a beautiful landscape picture.

What I like about this image is that although the hand of made is present throughout the photograph, the angle of the capture minimalizes that presence. The eye is then focused on the falls themselves, which has good detail of the water on the brink and at the same time the softness of the mist. The color ids good. I found after focusing on the Falls that I really noticed the bird in the upper left. I guess that is like a cherry on a sundae. Well done.

Not sure what you mean by "hand of made"? Nevertheless I am grateful for your nice and detailed review!
-
Hand of Man means anything man made. In some competitions they are forbidden. This is not one of those. Very well done.

Now, I understand!

Glad to help.

Since I am in Buffalo,New York,I am quite familiar with our great Niagara Falls. And,your photograph, with its highlighted, flowing water, complete with trees and, bird, overhead, has, more, than done it justice.
Cordially,

Nice shot. The falls are magnificent and powerful. You captured nice colors, framing, the sun exposure, the detailing of the falls...I can almost feel the mist and hear the roar. What luck you got a goose(?) Flying over. Thanks.

Actually think the bird makes no difference in this as its to small,in fact I would crop of this part of the shot as its the falls are the main focus in this...Brian

Yes, you do have a valid point of view, but I do not agree with it! Thanks for reviewing!

your welcome, and sometimes someone will comment on mine and I disagree, sometimes the photographer sees something different from the viewer,i would rather comment on something as I see it than like a lot of others just keep giving straight fives on everything

I feel that the main subject here is the falls, the bird is such a tiny part of the scene. The falls are well captured with good focus and nice action freeze. I like the mist rising as the water rushes down. It's a beautiful scene , showingbthe power of the falls. Well presented!
