Good catch of the bird. The Falls are beautiful and you captured them nicely in a split screen, dark on one side and the action fall on the right. Very nice lighting and good focus. Pleasant to look at and well framed. I think you could have cropped a little closer to get a better view of the bird and it wouldn't have lost the view of the falls.

an excellent stop action nik and capture of the bird above the Niagara Falls; of course, I would prefer to see it one second before in order to avoid the building spoiling the view;

This is a wonderful shot of of the Niagara Falls.The bird adds to the drama! You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Nik,
A beautiful picture not only of the Gull in flight but also of the mighty Niagara Fall seen from Canada the mist rising like steam from the base of the falls. Beautiful stop action composition, framing & lighting taken withsuperb camera techniques & sharp focus. The year I visited there in early May part of the falls were still frozen...it was warmer in Dublin when I left.

still, part to the water fall is over exposed and this takes from the initial impact
also, the sky are very bright and distracting
