This is a very well made digital painting of the horse. The depiction of the background landscape with multitude of shapes against smooth sky makes interesting viewing. Besides the bird is realistically painted. Overall a fine painting. Good effort!

This horse is the visualization of it name. Its azure blue coat signifies the sky perfectly. The starlight is captured in the white of the mane tail and legs. The elegant posture is an expression of the flight on whispering hooves.

I like your style. Have you you thought of trying a mix media technique to create a piece? The yellow follows in the foreground seem to much digitalized. Maybe add elements of actual paint application could add for some interesting contrasting elements.

Thank you! No I haven't. What program would I use? Do you mean a program named paint or real paint?

Hi Daphne, real paint is what I was refereeing to.

I think the horse you have created here looks great, and with the flying mane and tail it is given the feel of motion. I like the little touch of dust as well, and the bird following the horse.
I like the color pallet you have used, and the yellow and pin flowers offer such a nice contrast to the purple and blues.
The format and framing is working really well, and I think the horse has got a fine placement in the picture. I think this is a lovely and well done digital creation Daphne.

I really like how the mane and tail indicate a sense of motion so well. The bird is a cute addition and I like the extended wing feathers in flight. The background color is nice and those yellow flowers always add a nice pop of extra dramatic color to the scenes.

As I have mentioned before with your other drawings of this horse, the details are incredible. I really like the bluish-black color of the horse and how he just runs through the desert at night. You have a great story telling energy. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

really a beautiful and dynamic presentation. lovely and mobile, agile and yet with some purpose. this whole project has a vital energy and contains both mystery, coupled with a magical vibe. that's another very interesting twist in that bird has joined in on the journey. the whole scene appears to be languishing under those desert stars. 3 + 3 = 6.

Thank you so very much for your very thoughtful and complimentary review Mr. Jones! You even got a little math in there! A subject I need to brush up on -- learn in the first place or forget it altogether! (My father never bothered to teach me math as I was younger than everyone else and at lower grade level all the time -- then my family plunked me into an English college -- not sure how I survived that to this day other than developing an emergency alter ego or some such phenomena!) Enjoy! Daphne
