It is always nice to have a photo of something with such dear memories, and you have indeed pictured this movie theatre well. I especially like the change to black and white, and also your POV including the two lamp poles on each side.
The photo is pin sharp with such clear and well defined details, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is working well, and I think it is a good balance in the composition. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo Jack, and with a very good DOF.

Nice shot of this old place. We have one that looks a lot like this. It is now being used as a spot local people come in and sing or perform their talents. People come and pay admission to see. It is good to show historic places like this!

I like the black and white for this one, it does support the age, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the black and white shows good tonal variations. Well composed and presented! It sounds like you have many memories here!

Interesting history and yes, we, also had a local movie center, we used to go by foot (about 2km) and also paid almost nothing, nice to remember good things

that is the kind of photo i love taking myself. yes jack they are replacing everything london to; with mobile telephone, coffee shops or just glass carbuncles, which no one (apart from rich arabs) can relate to. what to say, what to do?!?
