Excellent storytelling! The dog must be hidden before mom gets home! Grandpa threw a blanket over the dog to try and hide it . This is very well rendered with excellent colors and tones, nice show of all the details , Grandpa is sitting with his arm on the dogs back, the child is hoping mom won't see the dog. I love the expression on the dogs face! Well presented and a pleasure to view! Best wishes to you in the contest!

thank you. I am a bit fond of drawing dogs into my pictures as both my younger sons usually have a dog with them. I am not sure they have realised yet that dogs are a different species. and my eldest son, when a baby and small would not go to sleep till our labrador was nestled under his cot though the Council rent man threatened to have us ousted out of our council house if the dog did not stop digging through to Australia- huge holes in our garden, but always near the back door!

Lovely work and use of colours here. Colours contrast next to one another really well. Good expression on the dog, overall good work. Thanks for sharing
