This is beautiful and soulful!! I love your unconventional technique - it's modern and impressionistic, yet thoroughly conveys realism. Very well done! And the emotions displayed of trust and devotion - not to mention adorable puppy eyes makes this piece absolutely heartwarming! This is a wonderful entry for the contest!

This painting of the dog has tons of character. The dog's personality comes through well. He has a shy look that comes through, almost timidness in his eyes. Colors really work well. Good luck with the contest.

Lovely use of colour which contrasts nicely overall. Background is nice and shuttle which enhances the overall piece. Good contrast and saturation. Well done and thanks for sharing

The use of almost complimentary colors makes this unique piece really stand out. I got a pang of sadness upon viewing this and reading the title. It reminds me of old friends that have come and gone. I love that this was made by hand and edited digitally to enhance the impact of color. Incredibly well done.

This reminds of Andy Warhol paintings. I like the subject being a dog! He's a cutie and the various splashes of color in his face look good. I like the peach hues that make up the undertones of his body.
