Great clear shot of these fungi -- very artistically placed on the tree limb. They do indeed look like seashells. They are actually very pretty in their own way. I also like viewing them against the unusual geometric pattern of branches in the background. Daphne Oberon

I really like this simple but artistic picture of the mushrooms. They do in fact look like seashells which is a commentary of how often similar shapes and patterns appear so frequently in nature. This is successful art and photography.

I love this nature capture! It reminded me of clams as well as butterflies or moths. Love the soft focus of the green foliage and blue sky in the background and the tight focus on the limb and fungus. Nicely balanced and beautifully detailed!

This is SO cool Grace! They do, indeed, look like clam shells. I've never seen anything like these before. Your composition is really lovely. I love where you placed the branch and mushrooms in the frame. The light and colors are so beautiful. The background is interesting without being distracting. Now...that one brown twig that runs diagonally through the left of the frame is a bit distracting. I'd love to see this with that branch cloned out. I'd have to give it a 6 if you did that. BUT...that's just my opinion. I think this is a beautiful shot.
