Definitely a very pretty bird, even though he doesn't belong there.Appreciate your great artists' notes which are very informative.A very well composed image of this parakeet with the acorn in it's strong beak, framed well in your vertical format, excellent focus and depth of field,a lovely image. Are they bigger than the parakeets they sell in the US as pets,it looks bigger!

The parakeets(Budgerigar)they sell in the US are only about 7 inches in height.

This is a stunning photograph! The color is amazing, and I love your composition. Especially the placement of the bird's beak in the photo! Great picture!

Hi, no hard feeling but unfortunately this is really out of focus and has many distracting branches. You have plenty of good work which is way better than this. Don't post just for filling your quota. Post quality work. Thanks for sharing.

Enchanting portrait of your Parakeet, with the acorn in his mouth, head turned to the side. You have captured his plumage,beautifully..The diagonals of the branch that he is on,with its shoots, against the greenery in the background is excellent.
Cordially,
Joanna Bachman

This parakeet has such pretty colors. I didn't know they could cause so much trouble though. I really like how you have framed this little guy. You did a fantastic job and I thank you for sharing this with us. :)

This bird is giving you a nice pose but the bird is out of focus. It may be because you cropped too tight. You could maybe sharpen and adjust contrast a bit, don't know. When a photo is out of focus it takes away a lot.

What a handsome bird. How lucky you are to have parakeets in your garden. They are pretty, colorful birds and so much fun to watch. Your presentation is awesome as you caught him full body and head turned showing the acorn in his mouth. Excellent cropping and very well framed.

This is a nice shot of the parakeet=) I find that so cool that you have them flying around where you live! I only get to see them in cages=( The focus is very good! The colors are great! Well done and thanks for sharing! Lori
