With the growing global nature of trade and manufacturing we all seem to have an increase in invasive species. Most are not as attractive as this one (or the mute swans). Freighters on the Great Lakes used to purge their ballast tanks and in so doing introduced a wide variety of mussels that have taken over the environment. I like this profile. The setting is great and the colors are excellent.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this cheeky looking Perruche a collier showing it's got the last acorn in it's beak as it watches you closely with it's golden eye. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice nature shot posted here! Your fine full and central composition offers us a very enjoyable look at your visiting budgie. Like the pose you have captured. Exposure and sharpness are OK. Nicely done!
