Wonderful image, You have the ability to really have one focus on the face of your subjects. The color vis a vie the background is good. Since you strength ( in my humble estimation ) is with the facial expression of the subject have you considered what this painting would look like if all you had was from the elbows up? Just a thought on a well done painting.
