Aw! What a lovely story, Linda. I'm so pleased you were able to rescue your gorgeous Collar. He looks so contented now. I love the pose you caught. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Linda,
A Cyber Six for your beautiful "Collar" the Mackerel Grey Tabbly on white Tom Cat lying there comfortably in the grass with a far away look in his eyes pretending not to notice you & your camera! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

He is our baby for sure. Spoiled. Loving. Like Juno is to you. He is fourteen years old now and slowing down. Thank you Susan for the wonderful review.

A nice looking cat. I think a lot animal shots are essentially portraits and it is my first instinct to frame them vertically. That would have been helpful here. The colors are good and the eyes are especially nice.

This is a lovely shot of pet cat! He looks well fed going by the smug look he has on his face! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Lovely use of colour which contrasts nicely overall. Background is nice and shuttle which enhances the overall piece. Your cat seems like a lovely animal and you just feel as the viewer you want to go give him a pat. Good contrast and saturation. Well done and thanks for sharing

He's a beautiful cat. His story is so sad before you found. I'm glad you were there. I really like how nicely his dark stripes of his gorgeous coat stand out, and those eyes are very pretty. He looks like he was built to weigh 18 pounds.

He is very heavy, all mussel and when he gets into be, on my side, (because i go to bed later than hubby) he is dead weight and I have to push him out of the way. He likes to sleep on my pillow. We love him so much. Thanks for your wonderful review on my fella.

Collar is a gorgeous boy! I can see by his relaxed position and content expression that he is happy and healthy and well loved, he has such a beautiful fur coat, beautiful colors I love the stripes on his front legs, and that beautiful white bib on his chest, I see three white socks too. He is well focused , the image is clear, exposure is well managed, his colors and tones are natural. This almost made me cry, to read how you found Collar , I volunteer with a pet rescue and can't believe the heartlessness of some people! Thank you so much for rescuing Collar and for taking such wonderful care of him! He knows what you did for him and he loves you and all people in spite of what his first owners did! Thank you for sharing him!

Yea, I guess that is why I get squirrels, rats, birds, a few small snakes, moles (nasty), frogs, and lizards. He loves to bring them to me first then runs to the bathroom to try and hide them. That is where he lets them go in the house. One time he brought me five baby (tiny) squirrels and five baby kittens. The kittens he tried to hide in the spare bedroom under the bed. Never hurt a one of them. I don't understand the cruelty of people either. Thank you, as always for your wonderful review and continued support. My friend and buddy. Notice he brings them to ME. Hubby is scared of critters and won't pick up a thing.

That is so sweet, that he brought the baby cats without harming them and the squirrels too! He brings them to you as a gift to you, animals are the very best judge of a persons character, Collar knows you are special, you saved him and he is grateful !

That is both a sad and happy story. I am glad that you kept him and gave him a home. I really like how you have captured his relaxed pose. The clarity is good, the angle is perfect, and I also like how the light is hitting him. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

He has been the best cat ever. But he is getting old and slowing down. He doesn't bring me squirrels like he use to. Thanks so much for the terrific review.
