This is beautiful,excellent capture of this gull with upraised wings,reflected in the water.the bird's movement has caused ripples which add a great deal of interest and texture to this photo.Very well composed with the gull against the darker portion of the photo making it stand out. Very well done and highly enjoyable!

I like the unusual pose you caught here as the seagull gets ready to take off, with his wings lifted up into the air. I like all the patterns in the water from the ripples. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image. Very nice composition. Suzanne

You really have achieved a marvellous photograph Fred with that amazing wing span so perfectly in focus and outstretched brilliantly to define this bird's brilliance and delight as it gets itself ready for take off. Loving the detail seen on the upper portion of its wings. the feathers of black and white are truly stunning.. and the exposure is perfect as is the lighting to enhance the detail within. Placement of the seagulls is excellent, allowing the rings of water to be part of the display.. The shadowed effect in the surface of the water adds a wonderful textural value and great depth of field to the scene. mesmerizing in every detail and truly appealing to the mind's eye. great positioning of the reddish beak just balancing its pose perfectly. with the tail feathers neatly protruding in the rear end of its body. The rippling water offers great feeling of movement to your scene. . excellent shading created by the light exposure in your photo Fred.. and bringing a good contrast to the pure white feathered friend as it poses for your camera.. Nice reflection. It's hard to tell if the bird is landing or taking off. I also like the black and white colors, they fit great in the reflection. The water rings framing the Bird is a good touch.

The reflection in the water is so pretty and clear. Wonderful job capturing the sea gull with his wings up showing us all of the details in the feathers. Clear , sharp focus and wonderful lighting. The movement in the water high lights the pretty whiteness of the bird. Very well framed . So pretty.

This is a cool looking capture. The black in the wingtips gets a little lost in the shadows but the reflection shows them well. The ripples in the water look very nice too.
