Grace, this is a nice action photo! Looks like the pair got divorced. Now they're flying away from each other. Soft snowy background reminds us there's still a winter time. So, it will be wormer together... Razor sharp focus, perectly cropped! The image well Deserved to be with the recognized seal. Way to go, sister!!!

    Lol, thank you! They kind of do look like they had a disagreement :)

Don't laugh but my story also has bird dive bombing but they will have field mice riding them going into battle.. you'll see..wink. the capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of these dive bombing birds is great. The clarity is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Looks like a lovers spat to me. I love seeing their bright colors in the winter against the bare trees and snow fall, it adds a bit of warmth to the day. Nice job of stopping the action and getting detail in the wings, especially on the male. good color and a real feel for the scene. Well done.

Now this is a neat looking scene you captured here! I love the fact you caught the male and female Cardinal in the same frame and with the open wings in good focus! Very nice!

I like how you have capture the cardinals here. I love the one on the left that looks more vibrant with such dreamy colours on its feathers. Just a beautiful shot, thanks for sharing

A fantastic stop action of this pair of Cardinals leaping off the branch the male on the left & the female on the right the light from behind make them stand out clearly from the background. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I don't know what it is with your bird's you seem to capture the most unique images of them! This is great wonder if they counted to three before diving off that branch.Good focus and well framed,making this really enjoyable,always look forward to your excellent captures of your avian wildlife!

a cyber six for this other outstanding stop action of two birds taking of with spread wings; I think you must have a gun in your Pocket and shot the gun once your camera is ready; lol;
