Lol..funny you mention about the rodent. I'm originally from Mississippi and we call them tree rats. They really do make good gravy. Squirrel season is just like deer season.. around in November when it gets colder. This is a cute capture. The angle of the shot of this tree rats grooming itself is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

LOL! I feed my birds sunflower seed and the squirrels think it is for them. They will clean the feeders in no time. The Red Bellied woodpecker will chase it off and so will the Blue jay. They are fun to watch. I like how you captured his paws on his face.

    Thank you! Yes, the squirrels are funny with the birds, and they do think that the sunflower seeds are theirs!

you are the champion for capturing animals in a great and funny position; it looks as if he was apologizing for eating all the peanuts without leaving a few for you;
excellent sharp details;

HAHA haha haha haha!
You are KILLING ME Green!
The title cracks me up and covering of his eye and "body" language is too funny.
Yes the background is not favorable, but after the day I had at work it's a nice laugh.
Thanks Monty!!

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this backlit little Grey Squirrel busy cleaning it's face, the backlighting makes this little Squirrel stand out clearly from it. Artistic composition framed by the light behind. Taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I love your series with this animal. I just love their tail that's so fluffy. How good to capture this moment with the paw over its face. Well done and thanks for sharing on far

Looks like he's going into withdrawal-lol! Poor squirrel,that's what happens when you have an addiction and you can't feed it! This is a great photo,and yes,it does have sort of a rattish look to it's face-well they are bushy tailed tree rats after all.A great photo of this squirrel with it's upraised tail,I like the branching in the background,looks quite abstract!

Yeah,Grace!
The creature's face has the look of a classic big old 'wharf rat' in this shot,doesn't it? : )
It's definitely an interesting picture,my friend,and it's a very enjoyable one to look at too!
