This is wonderful. Bob Ross has the first season on Netflix now,,I have not watched him for a very long time lol, As for your puppy I have a 6 month old JRT who steals everything, lol, so I feel your pain, Love the sheep in this very quiet meadow,, This is a very small barn lol,,a lot to see in this great presentation

That's a great 'review... Thank you... Love your comments. Yes the barn seems small. I don't think I got the perspective right. The sheep were scaled to diminish and the stream was made larger than life to try and make the barn a normal size in the background. It ended up the stream seems ro dominate and do nothing for the size of the barn. When it dries I intend to do a little bit here and there and the stream less obvious.

A very nice scene although I am not too fond of the cascading water and rocks in the lower right. I like the wispy trees and the beautiful colors.

Thank you for your review. You know those rocks and water have been troubling me, something is not jelling with them. The painting is still very wet so i am thinnking abouf a change. May be something more gentle. My daughter thinks i should stick some yellow gorse bushes in??. I have had good reviews on this but no comments on the water .. people being polite! You are the first and I appreciate that as I say they that area is troubling me. I am really not happy with it.

Ole Bob Ross! Been a coons age since I seen him..wow a name from the past..I'm not a painter but I did find him interesting. Wink. This is an awesome creation. The depth is excellent. The shading is excellent. The details is excellent. The blend of the colors is awesome. The creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. That's a tremendous review.. Thank you so much. Happy you know Bob. Some young friends on Facebook had to look him up and my 11tear old granddaughter is addicted to viewing him. She has done some lovely work that's when she isn't gaming. Lol

This is a very well rendered meadow scene with the barn . I really like the way you have arranged this scene with the barn placed to the left, the barn is well shaped with good structure and nice detail. The meadow is beautiful and I like the sheep grazing on the grass , Beautifully placed trees that are well created with realistic shape and structure . This scene has good depth and I like the way you are showing the hill. Very well chosen and applied colors. Very well presented . This was a pleasure to view! Best wishes to you in this contest! I also suggest to make more contrast between light and shadows. If you choose oils as your medium, you also need to work with layers. Wet on wet is good for backgrounds. Nice try! Thank you good suggestions. It's very wet at moment will take sometime to dry before I can add shadows. May be a but late to make the barn bigger I was trying to use perspective via the stream and sheep. A really useful review.
