That looks like a pretty scary way of warming one's hands! I think I would rather invest in a pair of gloves, lol!
It is am interesting sight and a great view of the elephant's mouth.

So sweet! On first glance, my eyes were drawn to how big his teeth are! I would love to be in such close proximity to the animals you must have been exposed to throughout your career. Your image is beautiful. Not only the quality of the picture, but also the trust captured. Thank you for sharing:)

Probably very efficient as long as the elephant doesn't close its mouth. I really like the close and personal approach just showing the mouth of the elephant and the arms.

The photo is also nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details, and the exposure is very good.

The tight cropping is working well, and the placement of both the elephant and the arms is very good. I think this is a funny and well taken photo Fred, and with a good DOF.

Wish I had one of those hand warmers when I was outside today,they got quite cold! A very interesting image,never seen anyone with their hands in an elephant's mouth before.I like your tight cropping focusing on the elephant's mouth and the persons hands.Excellent focus and good natural colors makes this an enjoyable photo!

What do you call cold in Thailand? 50 degrees F.? Where I am right now its 17 degrees F. I need an elephant! Interesting image of what lengths people will go for creature comfort. It would have been nice to see a bit more of the pachyderms face. Good color and detail.

    thank you;I'm sorry, cannot send you an elephant: too heavy;
    I'm sure you have already seen an elephant face..
    I'm also sure this is the first time you see warming hands in the mouth..
    this is the Reason why I wanted a close up of the hands and not the elephants' ears, eyes, trunk

    You're correct, I have never seen the use of an elephant to warm hands. Thanks for the info.

Excellent capture showing the young person warming their hands in the beautiful elephant's mouth - very interesting shot. I love how you can see the inside of the elephant's mouth and all the fine lines and hairs on his skin. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent clarity. Very interesting composition. Suzanne

Wow! This is the first time I've heard of anyone warming their hands this way! I'm thinking this must be a baby elephant. An adult elephant's mouth would be higher up and people might not want to get so close to one. A fun and interesting photo!

HA! I think I will find a better way to warm my hands. This looks a bit risky. I think this was a good story teller photograph. I enjoyed looking at it.

Cool and so nice of the elephant to share his mouth for the warming. Expressive and creative shot in good focus and nice lighting. Good cropping giving us a lot of details of the elephant warming the hands. Thanks for sharing this fun photo.

I don't think that is a way I would want to warm up my hands lol. I prefer to look at these beautiful creatures from afar. I really like the close up of this photo though. You did a fantastic job with this creative scene. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)
