a very good capture of this mountainscape taken probably in the morning or evening as inferred from the shadows; natural colors with sharp focus; no much autumn colors;

Your kind review is appreciated! It was taken towards late afternoon.

Beautiful picture! The purples, yellows and greens are a nice contrast to the lighter sky and sand of hill. The focus is sharp and exposure is well managed. I have never been to Idaho, but would love to visit.

I think it is a beautiful landscape you have pictured here, and I especially like the way the light is falling on the landscape. I also like how the trees in the foreground is work as a nice and natural framing, and as always I so much appreciate the nice and natural colors.

The photo is pin sharp with clear and well defined details, and the exposure is spot on.

The format and framing is perfect, and I think it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

The reeds add a bit of depth to the overall image, guess that if you were on a raft there were limited places in which to get good photos, this is mostly about various places where the light falls to give us a variation on the hills...Brian

I love the shadows in this photo,,its like they hug the landscape, So is this like all sand? Like the trees at the bottom that show that yes it is autumn. The trees or shrub I guess are looking cool, but like they will slide down.

I am grateful for your nice review! Reckon that the surfaces that we see are sandstone.

a well taken landscape here, I like the light captured on the hills which really highlights the trees and undulations in the hills, the greenery in the fore ground adds interest to the scene.
lovely.

Grand mountain vista with a visually balanced foreground.

Sharply focused.
Fine features & varied textures.

Subtle illumination.
Subdued earth tones against a pale blue sky...
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Diminishing perspective. Vanishing viewpoint.

Thanks for sharing...

A very pretty landscape, good capture of the light and shadows on the far hills, their coloration resembles that of sand dunes.Excellent focus, really shows us the pine trees clinging to the hills;like the inclusion of the foreground weeds.Looks like a great place to take pictures!

This is indeed beautiful! You need to come to Kentucky during the fall. We could compare and contrast. I like the way the sun is hitting the hills. I like the grasses in the foreground that gives it a lot of interest. God has given us so many beautiful places in nature for us to photograph.

This is a great image. Is it called snake river because I am sure thousands of snakes live in those huge sandy mountains of sand? If I was a snake I would live there.
Nice focus. Detail , perspective , dimension and interest.
A pleasure to view.
It looks like it was a great adventure!
