Excellent closeup, Grace, showing this pretty Dragonfly at work on the plant. I like the angle you used for this, showing the gossamer nature of the wings very well. The softened background works well. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Beautiful dragonfly Grace with excellent dimensional quality to this image. I really think the pose and view is unique with beautiful detail and such a wonderfully soft bokeh in the background. The overall colors are fabulous!

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this Dragon fly alighted on the flower spike, sucking nectar. The light glowing through it's gossamer wings & showing off the shine on it's head, eyes. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

WOW! This is such a cool shot, Grace. I love it! Wish I had a 6 to give it. Your focus on the dragonfly is lovely. The composition is so pleasing to view...the way it is perched on the seed balls, the wings almost folding over them, the soft background with circles of light... all makes this the prettiest composition. Nice work!

Our summer starts by the middle of April It is already in the 60's and 70's. this is a beautiful dragon flu and the close up is awesome. Love that we can see the details of his wings. Sharp clear image of the dragonfly well balanced within the frame. So pretty

Thank you! We are getting several more feet of snow today, so I don't think we'll even be seeing Spring very soon here :)

This is a wonderful shot of nature. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Nice shot of this dragonfly in a rest position. Good DoF that makes it stand out in the image. Good focus with lots of details visible. Interesting compositional elements. Well seen.

An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors save for the bronze-colored thorny florets...
Excellent details & features. Impressive natural setting & textures.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Thanks for sharing...
