This is a fine head-shot of the dove! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort! Good luck!

Animal pictures are my favorite. Although my preference tends to shift towards color contrast, I really like the grays and ivory in this image. Crisp, clean photo. Thanks for sharing:)

A beautiful portrait of the Inca Dove looking back over it's shoulder at you the light highlighting the right side of it's face & the sparkle in it's eye & it's black fringes to both the upper & underside of the feathers. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

What a wonderful piece, i like the angle you have capture here of the bird. The expression is lovely and there is nice detail coming through to where the light hits the bird. Great work

Quite a good entry into the competition posted here! Your slightly off-centre composition offers us an enjoyable look at your dove. Like that eye gleam! Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

This is a nice photo of a dove! Unusual point of view. Neutral background helps to see the subject, nothing destructive. Good contrast and sharpness. Good luck in the contest! ! !

A very nice shot that shows the scaly look of the plumage very well. A well composed image with great muted colors. Best of luck in the contest.

A very monochromatic entry for the contest, the background color really compliments the dove's plumage.Nice sharp focus, good capture of the catchlight in the eye, good detailing in the feathers. This would look cropped in a vertical format also.Wish you all the best in the contest with this image!

I really like the simplicity of this photo with the plain grey background, and the light is also falling on the bird in a lovely way. Especially the eye is well captured, and the lovely dove is standing out from the background in an excellent way.

The photo is nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is spot on.

The tight cropping is working well, and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
