This is a well taken photo. The bird is in good focus. The details of body and plumage are sharp. The colors are nicely natural-realistic. The presentation of the bird on the diagonal branch is eye pleasing. The bird is well placed into the frame. The photo is balanced. It has good depth.; The neutral background emphasises the bird well.

Great close up of this pretty little Cardinal perched on the railing. I like the uncluttered background which really makes her pop out. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail in the feather markings. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Lovely portrait of your female cardinal.Your heightened red on her head crop, wings, and tail really stands out against her black encased beak.The black seeds,too,against the red adds good contrast to the composition.
