A beautiful shot of this wood duck, just showing all his colors to the maximum advantage. The plain background serves to focus the viewer on the bird itself. Wondeyfocus clarity and exposure. Great job!

I'm giving you "six" from my heart. The duck is so beautiful he almost looks painted, The colors are brilliant, sharp, and blend well. He is gorgeous and it was nice to capture him from the back so we can see the mosaics of his feathers, Sweet that he cocked his head to the left to look in your direction. Brilliant focus and terrific lighting. and awesome cropping . Excellent close up.

You captured a fine pose of this Had some Guy showing off his rainbow of colors well. Focus, exposure and details are all fab. It's a tad bright on his bill, but still a great capture.
Nicely done Fred ;)

Hi Super,I have wanted to capture the beautiful male wood duck for a long time, but they are so flighty I've never gotten the chance. You have a sensational shot of this male. All his colors are beautifully displayed with wonderful lighting and clarity! Super Job My Friend! :o) Nancy

My favorite ducks. They have the most beautiful colors and patterns which your photo really shows. Well focused and lighting is excellent. Your subject is well positioned. I enjoyed viewing it.

Fred,
Beautiful capture. It looks as if the time of day is either early morning or late evening, since the light is "golden". This also allowed you to catch the iridescence of the wing feathers and the crest of the duck. The background provides the ability for the duck to really stand out. Nice photo.

You have indeed pictured this colorful wood duck well Fred, and especially the red eye is captured well. The bird is also standing out from the soft background in an excellent way.

The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is very good.

The format you have cropped the photo into works so well, and the bird has got a very fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo and with a very good DOF.

Wow, brilliant colors! Amazing how nature picks colors that blend so well. Your focus is sharp and that is what makes the colors so brilliant, along with the fact you can see the details of the feathers. Your background makes the duck the focus of the picture
