Such pretty birds. I love that you captured him with snow on his beak. Once again, you captured the falling snow which is so nice. Your white balance and light management is really well handled on the snow. The soft background is very nice. Centered composition really shows him off in such a nice way. Great work!

Great shot here. I love cardinals in the Winter. They constantly eat me out of house and home. I have spoiled them with Black Oil Sunflower seeds.

Fortunately/Unfortunately we have spent the past two Winters here in Mexico so our house sitter gets to enjoy feeding these guys along with all the other birds that can clean out 3 feeders in two days.

I love this shot and have seen these guys pecking in the snow under the feeders looking for more seeds.

Great capture here with the snow in the beak. Such a Natural look for this beauty. Nice work Grace ~ Steve

Thank you kindly Steve for the six stars on this one. That is nice of you. I like that you make sure the birds are fed while you are in Mexico :)

Poor baby. Hopefully the snow will melt soon. It was 83 degrees here yesterday. My cardinals are out and so are the murder of crows. I've seen a few jays and lots of baby doves. My sis and I were laughing last night about me not being able to take a picture of a bird. It is hard. Your birds are beautiful and you always catch them in sweet positions. Great close up in wonderful frame.

A nice shot. The new fallen snow hides the seeds quite nicely and looks very good on his beak. A very fine composition with beautiful colors.

My review is based on the photo you click on to see the correct upload. ;)
Love his tilted head, as if he is watching you and your Tonka Lens. Nice white balance control, superb DOF, great feather details, sharp focus and the but of snow around his beak is priceless.
Another Unique and fine capture of a "feeder" bird Greenie!
=)
Boom Chicka Like it! ;)

Nice close-up of a Cardinal! Excellent sharpness. A lot of details are visible. Great composition. He doesn't look happy. Someone has interrupted him doing the job. And I guess who it was! :-) nice shot, Grace!!!

Looks like he is having a hard time over there, speaking as a Brit! Your full and central composition grants us a good look at your Cardinal and it's location. Nicely done!
