Nice work here Barbara. I like how you captured both the male and female in the same frame. They make such a natural pair. The iridescence of the green head on the male is very nicely rendered and immediately stands out in the scene. Nice capture Barbara ~ Steve

Perfectly framed and well composed shot of the pair of Mallard Ducks. Your central composition is visually strong. Superb eye clarity on the gorgeous ducks. Beautiful natural light with sharp focus revel excellent details in the feathers and markings. Your placement of the ducks is beautifully shot.....good timing and good camera techniques. I love mallards and it always seems like there is a green one with a brown one. one must be a male and one a female im guessing? I love the soft ripple in the water.

Mallards are such a huge favorite of mine! Here you have captured a pair on the creek, I like that they are facing opposite directions, the male with his gorgeous iridescent green head is well focused, clear to view, shows good detail in feathers, face and bill, good eye contact, I like his reflection on the water underneath him ,the female is well focused, she is nice and clear and shows good detail in her feathers , face and bill, nice eye contact and her reflection underneath. Your exposure is well managed, both of the mallards colors and tones are natural. Well composed with the clear water as background . Well presented!
