Just awesome! Is there any wonder the Bald Eagle is our national bird? Such majesty and strength! My patriotism grew three sizes today. Great detail in your shot and perfect timing to catch the feathers on full display.

There is just something so majestic about Bald Eagles. They just exude power, courage and grace all at the same time. And to think that Ben Franklin wanted the American symbol to be the Turkey. Phew, we dodged that bullet.

Lol, he thought eagles didn't make an honest living because they steal food from other birds, so they were of bad moral character :)
