This is another adorable shot of this chubby squirrel! He certainly looks like he is well fed and very healthy , his fur is beautiful ! I love the way he is standing there with his little paws held close to his chest, and that tilted head as he looks at you, he is well focused, clear to view, exposure is perfect, his colors and tones are natural, beautiful detail throughout and good eye contact, well composed and presented! This would be an awesome calendar photo! Best wishes to you in this contest!

There must be a series of this little guy. I think last night I reviewed Do You Think I'm Cute. He sure looks like he prepared for the winter ...he has a thick furry coat. The other pic showed a bit more snow on his face than this one. I can see more snow on his chest and belly...even though he folds his arms over his belly, I can still see his portly tummy. Tonight his eye doesn't twinkle quite like the other pic. But judging by the excellent detail of his fur, I have to think that the lighting is to blame for the lack of twinkle and mirror effect. This is a very cute pose and you caught it beautifully.
