This is very well executed and shows fine detail of a ballerina poised as if for flight... is she in Swan lake I wonder .. excellent use of drawing skills and observation. I like the black background. This is one of my favourite ways of working pastel on black paper or board.

Strong initial impact. Good use of the rule of thirds. I like the color and the complimentary background. I would have liked to see some hint of the dancer's upper leg. Here she seems suspended in air, maybe that is the response you are looking for. In any event well done.
