This skull looks great in the black and white format and the lighting is super nice. I like how you captured the shadows and the angle of the skull. This one has a pretty dramatic visual impact.

A very stark presentation of your beautiful skull and antlers. I like the hard light and the intense shadow it gives you. A good choice to show in black and white. Best wishes in the contest.

Yes!
'Night comes on again',LeeAnn! ( As the writings in the old Grimoires remind us! ) and your fantastic picture ( featuring what could easily be the skull of what many of us think of as 'the Great Horned God' ! ) looks Great! : D
( 'So Mote it be',my friend! )

I like the conversion to B & W. Good use of the rule of thirds. You exhibit whites to black in the photo. Stunning visual impact. Well done.

A modified chiaroscuro technique with fantabulous shadows!

Aptly captured for the contest theme...

An interesting initial impact.

Impressive b&w rendition. Excellent tonal range.

Nice features & textures.

Good lighting & framing.

Best of luck in the contest!

This is very dramatic and I think a good contender for the competition. I like the way you have used light to capture the darkness of the bones and then the highlights in some areas and then the form made in the shadows of the object. The arrangement is balanced and the ground adds texture. Good luck.

This is an awesome entry for this contest! I really like this in the black and white! Nice detail is seen In every part of the deer skull, I like the placement of the skull in the frame, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the B&W shows good tonal variations. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
