Interesting drawing and concepts in this piece. I like the idea of having the parrot stand out by its bright green and lime color. It makes it the center of focus in this piece. The background goes well with the parrot. Best wishes in the contest.

This is very unusual and creative. Like, something I have never seen before on this site. The parrot looks a bit haughty! The background is very interesting. I read your notes, but still don't understand your process. Whatever it is, please keep doing it.

Really like this! The selective coloring on just the parrot is so eye catching against the neutral grays and blacks of the tree and branch. Very well composed and rendered, this is a fantastic entry for the contest and I wish you all the best with this great creation!

I love the way you did this one in the selective color, with the parrot in a wonderful pose and in the beautiful green tones, the lighter tones on his head , neck and breast and back wings and tail feathers are in the deeper tones, he really is the star of the show here as he poses on the Branch with his head turned to look back. This is an awesome work! Well created and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

I find this very enjoyable and really do like it. I like the way you have only used the green shades and a touch of red and left the rest in the shades of grey. The turned head and overall composition is great. Your notes are very informative as well. Thanks for posting.

Good work here, lovely use of colours that contrast nicely . The elements of the background work well to make the parrot pop. Thanks for sharing on far
