A good entry into the Reflection Contest and a good contender and good luck. Visually strong and your dark background and reflection make for a dynamic photograph of the deer skull sitting in shallow water. Your choice of black and white and your tonal range throughout make this image powerful. I enjoyed reading your interesting and informative artists notes and like the storytelling with your image. Your lighting, focus, details are beautifully captured. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

A beautiful picture in black and white of the Deer skull lying in shallow water on which it is reflected. Showing even in death the deer is beautiful. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques and sharp focus.

You definitely know how to make a shot dramatic! The skull and the reflection create quite an image. The black background really adds to the to the overall look. Makes one feel a little eerie and shudder. It's an image that you can't ignore! Very Well Done! :o) Nancy

I think the reflection looks awesome! The tiny bit of motion in the water is the only give away that this is not a mirror reflection. The details in the skull are very attractive. Nice work cleaning up the image and giving it such a sharp and dramatic appearance.
