That title can have many different meanings, but this is a lovely pair of dahlias. Good color and focus on the flowers. I would have liked a different background so that the color and the shapes stood out more. Details are good. Well conceived.

It's snowing here,so gazing at this pair of sunny beauties is very enjoyable.Love the soft lighting that brings out a lot of shading in the petals.Focus is excellent,the image is a great entry for the contest,I wish you all the best!

Although a good shot of these flowers,think it is stretching the summer theme to the extreme as such,still though it will qualify as such,my only thought though is its an easy option rather than thinking outside the box in regards to contests,still its only my opinion,so don,t mean to say I am right...Brian
