I like that you put an explanation of your subject. It's very pretty. So, are you one a slope or do you need to straighten your photo? The photo is very clear and in focus and the blue sky is a great compliment to the scene. Nicely done.

I love these Namibian red dunes. This image is nicely cropped into the panoramic presentation. Details are excellent and the colors are fantastic. Best wishes in the contest.

This looks like such a wonderful place to visit. The colors are rich and eye catching in this image and the shapes of the dunes are visually appealing. The sand is like a work of art in itself! The composition is attractive.

Great work on the photo. The sand dunes are really nice. I like the larger one placed on the left and how it tapers off to smaller dunes on the right. Great work and good luck in the photo contest.

Very nice capture of the desert dunes. I love the shadows and highlights that bring out the textures in the dines. The Pano style works very well. Color is good. To my eye the image feels like it is not level, it may be but the foreground is tricking the eye. Nice shot!

    many thanks Charles;
    how can you decide on a mountain landscape without any horizon line that it is tilted ???
    like all areas near a hill or mountain the land is not flat...
reply by ArtistCharles on 16-Mar-2019
    The eye sees the only straight horizontal line in the shot, which has a decided tilt left to right and sees it not as level. That is the only reference point it has. I understand what you are saying which is why I said even though it probably is level, the eye may see it differently.

    I know what you mean; I have a level Indicator in my camera so I'm sure it is always horizontal; I wonder how you can proceed when there is an important mountain slope

    Sometimes I think you have to trust your eye. I do so much of my work hand held that I do a lot in post processing. In this case I would throw it into PS and see if a slight rotation helps. It may not. My sense is that the dunes will still look fine even with that tweak.

    yes, I agree: it would work because there is an only moderate apparent tilt and most important no other structures like trees, houses, people..

Very well capture of light and dark shadows here. It is a stunning view. The azure blue offsets the variant shades of the gold and rose sand dunes. I like how you have positioned to catch the sun falling to the right on the slopes. It has an overall good feel about ... it would make a great poster. Good luck in the comp.

Wow! Another Nature's wonder play! You have shot the mountains made by sand dunes.. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck!

I would love to go to Namibia, the scenery is so stark, yet amazing...as you have depicted in this image.
A very nice panorama of these reddish sand dunes against the intense blue sky.
Great lighting and composition. Thanks for sharing!
