A very nice painting although I don't quite understand why you would not include the entire tail. The colors are beautiful and setting is outstanding.

The tail? Wella bit of a story there. It was painted in full but the rest of the bird was out of proportion and i just could not get the feet and back wing correct. So i left it for a while. Went back to it.. got the proportions right but sort of lost a bit of tail. :( decided it was ok to leave as "a bit different from the norm." Thanks for reviewing and rating considering ?? . I always appreciate coments.

Lovely acrylic painting, Brenda, showing the white Cockatoo perched among the Sunflowers. I like the colours you used in this and love the way you've shown the feathers and flower petals with brushstrokes or palette knife. Very good use of colours, light and shade. Lovely composition.
