In England, we say cattle sit down when it is going to rain, /to keep their spot dry/ However, I don't suppose in their excellent climate it is necessary. An unusual shot. I have shots of cows when I was in India, they are just there, wandering about, but have never thought to photograph them elsewhere. Interesting how they are relaxed enought to just lie down. Maybe, being tamed cattle, they are not on any sort of 'danger=predators' mode but then the cattle in India seem totally relaxed wandering about too. Maybe cattle are super brave!?

The depth of field that is used ensures that everything from the foreground to the background is in focus. The image is also tack sharp so the viewer can see the terrain. I like the placement of the animals in the foreground as the centre of interest. Thanks for sharing.
