A very nice looking shot. The hawk (I think it is a Cooper's Hawk) is nicely posed in the dead tree. The details are very good and the colors are fantastic.

The tree branches he landed on are awesome! They give interesting shape and texture to the image. The bird stands out nicely against the brilliant blue of the sky. Your exposure shows off his markings nicely.

The color is well managed and the focus is sharp. Am wondering if you could crop the right side to just above the knot on that right branch. It would still balance the photo and enlarge the bird. Darn things don't cooperate by sitting low.

Very nice picture of this pretty bird. The blue sky really makes him and the dead tree pop out at you. I think maybe you could darken the bird a bit but still looks good.

I really like this one ! The clear blue sky with the grey dried out branch and the beautiful hawk looking out over the land, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, this shows the contrast between life and death, with the dead branch and the beautiful hawk. I like the way the two branches on the left are framing the hawk . Well presented!
