The two images work very well together . You could mat them as a diptych to tell the full story. Very nice stop action that shows the details very well. You can really see the yellow shafts in this shot. Good background that is soft and colorful. The touch of red on the neck works quite well. Good details throughout. Well seen.

You catch the birds in the most interesting flight poses. We are able to observe the one wing from above and the underside of opposite wing as well as the coloring of the feathers. The bird is well placed to the right and stand nicely out from the non-obstructive background. The composition is well balanced and framed.
