I like how savvy your use of color is in your paintings and how they make this water look remarkably pretty. It has good motion and lovely depth. The ships have attractive shapes and you did such a nice job creating light in the sky and on the water.

Very very beautiful colors. The pinkish reflection on the water is a realistic combination of the brown of the ships and the orange of the setting sun plus the ripples across the water's surface is almost the focal point of this lovely work. The details of the ships and your overall choice in colors creates a very pleasing and interesting piece.

Very very beautiful colors. Thank you so much for your complimentary review and tips. I did go in and do as you suggested.. I took out the deck on bottom right but lost a lost a lot of the sea. I had to work on an old foto as the original is in UK but will 're photo it when I return for future and prints good idea. Thanks again.

Nice paint, just pity it was shot not straighten and with a reflection from the glass, this wrong presentation takes from the initial impact and the rate

Thanks so much for your critique. I did it again was careless with cropping. I used an old photo on my phone as the original is in UK and I am in Germany at the moment. I tried recropping and straightening yesterday but lost the top of one mast so have left it for now. It has never been under glass so all I can think of as the glass reflections perhaps is how the light has caught the varnished finishin.
I have so much to learn in taking photos. Thanks again.
