Great photograph! These wonderful ancient finds are amazing to most of us that have not traveled much. The plus of this work is the story that goes with it! Really nice photo and nice Story. Good luck!

The composition is very nice and the focus is clear color is pretty well-managed. I know when you're traveling you can never manage where the heck the sun is so the top is a little blown out. I like all the information you provided about the site . Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest

Nice scene here. I visited the temple area while on R&R from Afghanistan several years ago.

As you know there is so much to see. I could have spent a month there exploring and photographing all those wonders. Only had two weeks unfortunately.

Gotta love those Tuk-Tuke's eh?

Great entry for the contest and i wish you the best of the best ~ Steve

This is a very interesting photo. You have done a good job in showing these ruins. The colour of the trees near the top of the trees looks a little funny coloured and light, but that was probably just lightened by the sun. Your written description was also well done.

This is such an incredible scene with so much detail to study here, the ruins are beautifully structured and I like how this shows the the trees growing right up into the ruins. This is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is good , colors and tones appear natural without over saturation or exposure, this shows a good variety of textures . This is a place where I would just stand for a while and take it all in. Your artists notes are intersting and very much appreciated. This is a good entry for the contest , Best wishes to you!

A fantastic image that shows how the works of nature will eventually obscure the works of man. The temple is shown in fine detail and beautiful colors and the tree roots are fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.

Very nice image of this temple and the overgrowing trees. Good detail and use of the light to create shape and form. It looks to me like a little skew adjustment could be used just to straighten the walls on either side a little. It is indeed a mysterious looking place that could be the setting for many movies. Shame the fence is there. Well seen.

    many thanks charles;
    yes, the fence: they put it because some stupid people were climbing on thev ruin to get a better pic of themselves

A very interesting picture of the temple at Ta Prohm being slowly strangled by the surrounding trees of the forest growing in the cracks & around the buildings re-claiming the space they occupy for itself. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Very interesting and that it is the back drop of Tomb Raider movies. I enjoyed your telling of the story. The photograph has captured an intriguing mood, the vines and tree roots are in a mystery adding focus with the base showing the caves then light sky at the top all together great balance.
