A beautiful profile portrait of the Sandhill Crane it's amber's coloured eye watching you closely, under it's deep red crown & long sharp bill . Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I love these birds and I love your portrait! Such beautiful pin sharp focus. Great composition. The light in his eye is so pretty. Your light management is perfect.

I like the eye colour too. It is beautiful. The patch of red on the crown of the head really add to the beauty of this bird. You have created a wonderful photo of a handsome bird.

Odd-looking birds for sure but you captured the head and neck and did it very well. I want to pet him---that's how inviting the smooth feathers are to me. Excellent focus and good background colors.

Nice head shot of the crane. Good focus. Good color. Sharp details, especially in the eye. The background works to set him off. Good composition. The only thing missing is the rest of the bird ;-). You can't really tell the size or awkwardness of the bird from just a head shot. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
