Nice shot of this neat bird. I got a few shots of this bird up close like this. The first time I saw them I was amazed at their size. They fly over my home in migration making their weird squawk.

What a beautiful shot! The depth of field is perfect with absolute clarity of the crane. I love the mottled background and it's simplicity because there is no distraction from the crane's portrait.
