This is a beautiful photo,I really like the angle of your shot and the extra crisp focus.A lot of detailing that has been very well . the blue and white coloration of this paddle steamer is well seen against the dark waters as it passes by. A very good contest entry,I wish you all the best!

What a beautiful photo of this steamship. Every detail of this ship is so clear. I'm not sure I like the colour of the water but it does show up the ship to perfection. This is a photo that is enjoyable to look at.

You would not expect to find a paddle steamer called Louisiana Star in Hamburg, but you have for sure pictured it well. I especially like the angle and perspective of your shot, and also how well the boat is standing out from the background of water.
Your photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the steamer, and the exposure is spot on.
The cropping is perfect, and the steamer has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

thanks Annie for the good review,funny how I took this,was on a cruise ship docked in hamburg,had just got back onboard and went for a stroll on deck and saw this go by,had it been a few minutes later would have missed it.

This is a great entry for the contest. It sure is a beautiful paddle boat. I wonder how old it is? Based on the color of the water I'm guessing it was a cloudy day, but you still got off a great shot of the boat.
