Nice catch! I like how you caught him with his head slightly bend. It is an intriguing pose. The viewer has the feel that the bird is looking at us. The light reflection in the eye is especial interesting. The colors are beautifully natural. The bird is in good focus, details of plumage and body are well defined. The photo has good depth. The composition is balanced and well framed.

A wonderful Picture of the male Cardinal searching for seeds around the brach lying on the concrete bench his head turned to get a better look at you while he picks up the seeds his beautiful scarlet plumage standing out from the soft browns & greys of his background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Lovely diagonal of branches,with the Cardinal astride them. The differing shades of red,with the black at the beak,and, the muted reddish browns and,greenish grays,behind him,make for a lovely portrait.

Thank you Nik! I guess my humor is a little silly, not always easy to understand :) He is red and he is peeping around the branch for seeds, and they make a peeping noise too. I sometimes struggle with titles too, lol!
